CHOSEN BY GOD
Key Scripture
“You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit.” — John 15:16
Devotional Message
Before you took your first breath, God knew you. Before anyone spoke your name, God had already called you His own. Many people spend years seeking approval, acceptance, and validation from others, yet true security is found in knowing that God Himself has chosen you.
Being chosen by God is not based on your achievements, talents, appearance, or background. God’s choice is rooted in His love and purpose. He saw every weakness, every failure, and every mistake you would ever make, yet He still chose you.
The world often measures worth according to performance. God measures worth according to relationship. When you understand that you are chosen, comparison loses its power. You no longer need to compete with others because your value comes from your Creator.
Today, allow this truth to settle deeply in your heart: you are not forgotten, overlooked, or insignificant. You are chosen by Almighty God for a divine purpose.

Declaration
I declare that I am chosen by God. I am not rejected, abandoned, or forgotten. Before the foundation of the world, God knew me and loved me. My value is not determined by people’s opinions but by God’s eternal love. I embrace my identity as His chosen child and walk confidently in His purpose for my life. Every day I will remember that I belong to God and that He has called me for such a time as this.
Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for choosing me. Thank You that Your love for me is not based on my performance but on Your grace. Help me reject every lie of rejection and insecurity. Teach me to live with confidence, knowing that I am Your beloved child. Let this truth transform how I see myself and how I live each day. May my life bring glory to You as I walk in the purpose You have prepared for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
