CREATED IN HIS IMAGE
Key Scripture
“So God created mankind in His own image.” — Genesis 1:27
Devotional Message
Every person longs for significance. Many search for it through success, popularity, possessions, or achievements. Yet significance begins with understanding that you were created in God’s image.
Being made in God’s image means you were designed to reflect His character, creativity, love, wisdom, and goodness. You are not an accident. You are a masterpiece intentionally formed by the hands of God.
The enemy often attacks our identity by making us focus on flaws, limitations, and imperfections. God wants us to focus on His design. While sin has affected humanity, God’s image still remains within us, and through Christ it is continually being restored.
When you recognize yourself as God’s creation, self-hatred gives way to gratitude. Comparison gives way to contentment. Fear gives way to confidence.
You are God’s workmanship, and He delights in what He has made.
