RENEWING YOUR MIND

Key Scripture
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” — Romans 12:2

Devotional Message
The battle for your identity often begins in your mind. Your thoughts influence your attitudes, decisions, emotions, and actions. If the enemy can influence your thinking, he can influence your living.
That is why renewing your mind is essential to spiritual growth.
Before coming to Christ, many people develop beliefs that are shaped by fear, rejection, culture, disappointment, or worldly values. These beliefs can remain even after salvation unless they are replaced with God’s truth.
Renewing your mind means allowing God’s Word to reshape the way you think. It involves identifying lies and replacing them with biblical truth. It means choosing faith over fear, hope over despair, and truth over deception.
Transformation begins when God’s truth becomes greater than the voices around you. As you spend time in Scripture, your perspective changes. You begin to see yourself as God sees you. You recognize your worth, purpose, and calling.
The process of renewing your mind is ongoing. Every day presents opportunities to align your thoughts with God’s Word. The more you meditate on His truth, the stronger your faith becomes.
Today, ask God to help you identify any thoughts that do not align with His truth and replace them with His promises.

Every day I am becoming more like Christ.

Prayer
Lord, renew my mind through Your Word. Help me recognize thoughts that do not align with Your truth. Teach me to replace fear with faith, doubt with confidence, and lies with Your promises. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
