Cast Your Cares on God
Scripture
1 Peter 5:7 (KJV)
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.”
Devotional Message
God never intended for you to carry every emotional burden alone. The word “casting” means throwing something away from yourself.
Many people hold onto worries internally until their minds become overwhelmed. But God invites us to release those cares onto Him.
Why? Because He cares for you.
Not only does God have power, but He also has compassion. He genuinely cares about your emotions, your struggles, your disappointments, and your fears.
Sometimes healing begins when people stop pretending to be strong and honestly surrender their pain to God.
You do not need to hide your emotions from Him.
Declarations
I release my worries to God.
God cares deeply about me.
I do not have to carry emotional burdens alone.
The Lord is strengthening my heart.
I am learning to trust God daily.
God’s love surrounds me.
My burdens are becoming lighter.
Healing is taking place within me.
Prayer
Father, today I surrender every burden I have been carrying. I release fear, worry, disappointment, emotional pain, and stress into Your hands.
Help me stop holding onto things that are damaging my peace. Teach me to trust Your care for my life.
Thank You for loving me enough to carry what I cannot handle alone. Fill my heart with peace and assurance today.
